Green Valley Project

Design Team

The Green Valley Project Design Team is a ten week program where teens will work together to express environmental issues in a creative way. This is an unpaid career development program meant to help participants increase their skill set, gain experience for their resume, and make connections with like minded peers!

Design Team Applications are Open!!


This program is open to students ages 15-20 in Ventura County. Activities typically include promoting Green Valley Project events, stories, and opportunities over social and traditional media, visual and written storytelling, and events. This year, the internship is focused on designing educational signage for our Pollinator Garden at the Humane Society and Mama Walnut Farm. Interns will also learn graphic design skills using Canva, gain insights into environmental restoration initiatives, and develop career-oriented skills such as crafting elevator speeches and social media management.

Meetings take place Saturdays from 10:00am-12:00pm starting in March 2nd.
Time commitment: 2 hours each week.
